Sometimes in my less happy times I intentionally seek out something that brings me joy. Often it’s related to nature, though occasionally it’s at my piano.
That got me thinking about this week’s happiness prompt.
Here’s the prompt for this week, albeit a day late, because what a week!
The Happiness Project is
my way of sprinkling happiness like fairy dust so that we can shift our perspective towards a happier more joyful life. Each Tuesday I will give you a prompt and an affirmation for the week. Use these to guide yourself towards a joyful life filled with gratitude and happiness. Think of it as your own gratitude journal.
Once in a while we’ll do a check-in to see how your happiness is improving, so keep slowly moving towards happiness and eventually to joy.

I didn’t play an instrument but there’s always music in my ear and around my house. Today I will punch a few keys on the piano though 😊.

I never got much beyond playing the triangle at school, Alegria, but I sing along whenever I can. Many thanks again for the mention.

No thanks needed Jo. Keep spreading the light.
And singing absolutely works. Sing away! 😁

Love it! You note to mindfully follow the music is such a great meditation trick. Thank you, Alegria. (And P.S. sorry that’s it’s been a week. For me too (like the last 6 weeks) so I really appreciate this happiness project!)

Oh so glad you appreciate the affirmations Wynne. I use and need them myself. What a time in our lives, I agree. We’re in sync even with that. Wishing you much better weeks ahead. Much love!
