Hope exploring your own creativity brought you some happiness last week.
This week we’ll explore simple play with a special friend.
Here’s the prompt for this week:
Let me know how much fun you find in this undistracted play time.
The Happiness Project is
my way of sprinkling happiness like fairy dust so that we can shift our perspective towards a happier more joyful life. Each Tuesday I will give you a prompt and an affirmation for the week. Use these to guide yourself towards a joyful life filled with gratitude and happiness. Think of it as your own gratitude journal.
Once in a while we’ll do a check-in to see how your happiness is improving, so keep slowly moving towards happiness and eventually to joy.

Love this! We said goodbye to our sweet puppy mama Sadie in February…she almost made it to her 14th birthday, and we miss her so. Thank you for the reminder to slow down when I take my morning walks so I can pause and greet neighbors out walking their dogs. A quick scratch behind the ears and dog-to-human smiles makes my day brighter. 😎

Sorry to hear about Sadie Vicki. We too find ourselves without a dog for the first time in decades, having always had one. Though yes, all the neighborhood doggies are fabulous to meet. And there’s a neighborhood cat that comes out to greet me every time I walk by. It’s so cute.

Love that! Cats aren’t always the most eager to say hello – in my experience. Sorry to hear you’re adjusting to a home without a doggie. Feels strange to us – still! ❤️

Perfect! It just so happens that we are spending a month with our daughter and her beautiful dog, Penny. So much fun and lots of cuddles!
