In these tumultuous times, saturated with uncertainty and division, it’s easy to get caught up in all the negative emotions swirling around you.
Don’t forget to live.
Here’s a little poem that came to me as I watched the sun set over the horizon, from 30,000 feet above our planet.
There’s nothing like being at a distance to help rearrange our perspective.

Count up all your 24 hours in a year
How many days have you travelled?
How many days have you wandered?
How many days have you spent hugging someone?
Noticing a flower bloom
Smelling the rain on wet earth
Watching a sunset or sunrise
Being a friend
Or needing one
How many days have you spent actually living?
I hope you’ll focus on the little joys to help you through and keep actually living.
Have a beautiful joyful weekend!

Timely advice. Easy to slip into despair, but resistance is as easy as living your life.
Yes exactly. Wise words Ally! I just read some of your other wise words on Vicki’s blog. Thanks for this!
Love it. Thank you!

A healthy perspective is to focus on our blessings instead of concentrating on the negative.
You’re absolutely right Pete. Thank you for sharing that perspective.
