She had been putting it off for long enough now. She’d found every excuse to avoid making that call to Maxx. She didn’t need a reminder, but still wrote his name on a slip of paper that she’d been using as a bookmark for the last 3 weeks.
Ella took off her glasses, rubbed her eyes, and looked out the window. Niagara fields were full of tightly rolled bales of hay, some neatly lined up in a long row.
As she reached down to put on her glasses, something caught her eye. There was Maxx Highgate, walking up her driveway!
Go to Rochelle Wisoff’s Addicted to Purple site and use her Wednesday photo as a prompt to write a complete 100 word story for Friday Fictioneers.
Thank you Archon’s Den for introducing me to this. Fun! And it turned out to exactly 100 words without trying. Friday Fictioneers!
It seems her Maxx avoidance is about to come to an end. Nicely done. Welcome to Friday Fictioneers.
Shalom,
Rochelle

Hmmmm…could be either. Shall we wait and see if the story continues? 😊

Nice ending. I guess Maxx couldn’t wait to hear from her any longer!
