Happiness Project Week 18

Did you find 3 things each day last week to bring you some joy? You can keep that practice going and will be amazed at how it shifts your perspective. And if that feels like too much then write down one thing each day and make that one thing happen. Ensuring happiness is hard work isn’t it? (insert smiley face here).

This week we’re going to find some happiness doing almost nothing, but observing. Slow intentional mindful moments in nature replenish our energy and that sense of calm brings us much happiness.

Here’s the prompt for this week:

The Happiness Project is

my way of sprinkling happiness like fairy dust so that we can shift our perspective towards a happier more joyful life. Each Tuesday I will give you a prompt and an affirmation for the week. Use these to guide yourself towards a joyful life filled with gratitude and happiness. Think of it as your own gratitude journal.

Once in a while we’ll do a check-in to see how your happiness is improving, so keep slowly moving towards happiness.

Last week:

Steffi from https://kokopellibeefreeblog.wordpress.com/ found happiness all week in simple things, even some things that we may find to be mundane and annoying like running an errand to replace a broken device. There was also joy found in creativity and meditation. Thank you Steffi for following through the entire week and sharing your tweets with me on your three things. It was wonderful to experience through your eyes.

Marvelous Margie from https://backroadsandotherstories.com says that she loves a call to action. The one thing about our happiness is we need to make it happen. And that needs a focused action on our part. The Happiness Project is all about taking action to ensure our own happiness in the simplest of things.

Restless Jo https://stillrestlessjo.com/blog/ who is always full of joy, celebrated her husband’s 70th birthday with some fabulous happy moments. Life really is a blessing Jo. Thank you for that reminder.

Joyful Jan https://accordingto.me/ will be back and I’m sure she found some happiness in simple things this past week.

Wonderful Wynne from https://wynneleon.com/ said, “what I noticed is that by writing them down, I made them happen. It reminds me of how truly powerful we are!

And that is so absolutely true. There’s something about writing down an intention that brings us closer to it. I hope you found the same and will continue to do that.

This week I wish you joy in observing the gifts of nature that are around you and that they bring happiness into your heart as you find that quiet connection with the beautiful energy of nature.
