Inspired by the Snow Moon on Feb 1st. Swipe to see the incredible beauty of this winter moon and the colours offered by the setting sun. Nothing was edited. Though it looked even more magnificent in person.

A poem for you about 🧊

I float through open skies. Thin vaporous clouds clear to reveal rooftops covered in snow. Lights on the surface, edging roadways and shining on porches, create a sacred geometry. Snowy paths and wet highways reflect smooth movement, as if the world is rotating in slow motion. There’s a brief and quiet stillness here. Anticipation held behind the engines hum. And then the swoosh and bump of rubber on concrete conveys the arrival. The threshold between air and land has been breached, and I have landed. But I hold on to that sensation, where the air is thin and the world is briefly suspended. That quiet indefinable moment of spaciousness that feels like a slow breath.
